Here we are delighted to offer you a Magnificent and VERY Rare18 TH CENTURY GENUINE DELFT GRANDFATHER CLOCK With a good maker signed VERGE MOVEMENT. The quality is superb and the Condition is Magnificent as i removed the movement from the Delft case to make sure that the movement is intact and as seen it is intact and the Balance wheel swings freely and the hair spring looks to be in good Condition It has a stunning white Enamel dial again that is Perfect as shown . The movement is high Quality and maker signed . The tin glaze Delft case is in remarkable Condition just the odd small Bruise on a few high points Which is Always the case as Tin glaze Delft is Prone to this .The case is also signed and it is all Hand painted The condition of the Clock is a good 99% perfect again as shown in the pictures as on the inside of the back of the case only is a small hairline It does not show on the outside. . I do not have a key to wind it up i am Pretty sure that the clock will work it will require a service . I have said it's a verge due to the early date i feel sure you will know what the movement is . The clock is 12 " tall It has a good front glass and a back glass both are in good condition It has been looked after that is a fact.
