Beautiful Extremely Rare Vintage 18" Doll - highly collectable. Named "Julia" This doll originates from Poland. I have never seen another like her. She is in lovely condition. She hasn't been played with and has been kept in her original box. She is dressed in her original clothing which is exquisitely made even down to her vest and pants! At 18" she is very similar to the popular American Girl doll and fits into the same clothing range. She has the same soft (although very solid to hold poses well) body with vinyl posable limbs. Her blue eyes open and close, with beautiful uncut long blonde hair. She comes with two books. One is a story book for children telling a story about her life. The other is the original catalogue from which she was purchased from. This book details the origin of the doll and the two other dolls that were available in this collection. Other information of the manufacturer and also the accessories for the dolls that were available to purchase. The two other dolls were named Klara and Susanna. These are the only 3 dolls manufactured in this collection, extremely hard to find now and highly sought after. Overall a beautiful collectors doll or gift for an older child.
