1800s AMERICAN BELLEEK Ott & Brewer PINK SHELL Cup & Saucer Set Description Up for auction is a beautiful antique "pink shell" Ott & Brewer cup and saucer set. Ott & Brewer, also known as American Belleek, is the company that eventually became Lenox. This cup and saucer set delights the eye in both color and form. The color glaze varies from a light pink on the exterior of the cup, and deepens on the interior. The seashell texture of the translucent porcelain is lovely to look at and hold. The cup's handle is pretty too, with gilt highlights. There are no condition issues to be noted: no chips, cracks, hairlines, gilt wear. The saucer measures 4 1/2" across. The cup measures 1 3/4" high. It's marked with the American Belleek/Ott & Brewer mark. We're offering the set here at a low starting price and with no reserve.
