The Waterbury Clocks manufacturing company was set up in 1857 in the Naugatuck Valley, with the intention from day one that it would be a contender for the largest and best run clock making company in the United States. No expense was spared and the company set out to hire the best clock making talent money could buy. I just had this clock cleaned to check for flaws, everything runs Beautifully, with a 30 hour time and strike . Sound is of a Gong, American made. Excellent running condition ! Strickes every hour. ( Waterbury )! Brighton ! One of the steeples is shorter than the other due to being broken through out the years.
