This is an amazing antique piece. I am unsure of the type of wood, It could be ash, elm or poplar wood. It is a hard wood. It is approx. 30" tall, 34.50" long and 15" in depth. It weighs approx. 40 pounds. The lid is not attached. This piece would make a great addition to your country decor. It would also make a great hall table and you can store items inside. The inside has lots of patina and you can tell by the smell it got lots of use. I am offering it at a great price with local pick-up only. IF you wish to hire a freight company to ship it, a company I work with is Craters and Freighters. They can be reached at . I will deliver it to them for free so you won't have to pay a pick-up charge. Thanks for looking and be sure to check out some of our other listings for some amazing finds.
