We are pleased to offer for auction this Primitive 1800's Wooden Butter Churn in Old Style Blue Paint with No Reserve ! A fresh find from a North Carolina farm! This Butter Churn is staved, has three wire bands and a metal band encircling it. The churn had some traces of Original Blue Paint. An old style blue has been applied and aged to give it the appearance of when more of the original paint remained. This butter churn has great patina. It still has its original dasher and lid, with wonderful wear from daily use over its long life. The lid has an age crack. This churn measures 34" tall x 7 1/2" in diameter at the top and 10 1/2" at the base. This 19th century Primitive Wooden Butter Churn in Blue Paint is being offered with No Reserve!
