is a very nice, all original vanity set from around the 1880s, perhaps earlier. I have had this set for over 20 years but it's now time to down size and go on to something else. I will also be listing more of my barber bottles in the next few days. This is a 7 piece white swirl milk glass set which includes two bottles, their original stoppers, a tray, and a trinket jar with its lid. T are beautiful pink roses with green leaves and lots of gold trim. The leaves are highly raised and are touched with gold leaf. The lip of the neck has individual beads and is also trimmed with gold. The bottles each measure approximately 7.5 inches tall without the stopper and about 10 inches tall with the stopper.....and about 17.5 inches in circumference around the widest area. Overall, the roses and leaves still display their delicate pinks and greens. T is random loss of gold leaf and t, but that is to be expected with these being as old as they are. T is some roughness on the bottom of the stoppers as well as along the inside of the opening of the bottle necks, w t also is some paint loss.........I saw no other chips or cracks. The vanity tray measures about 9 inches by 4.5 inches. The eleborately designed edges also have a raised design and trimmed in gold leaf.
