1800's Leather firemans helmet made by Wilson. Helmet is solid with a small crack in the front brim and some minor spots of wire showing. The embossing is a vine and flower design and completely visable.. Underneath the rear bill is stamped WILSON 135 bowery NY. inside a scroll design.This rare helmet would make a great restoration project .
