I get most of my items at estate auctions and sell them in an "as found" condition. I do no repairs, alterations and very little cleaning. This is done in the belief that most buyers prefer to receive them as original as possible. Because the items I sell can come from anywhere, I can't guarantee they all come from smoke free environments. DESCRIPTION: I have no idea how many volumes were in this set but this is Volume III. The leather cover does show wear and soiling and the spine cover has come completely loose. There is also a small discolored rectangle where an old price sticker had been placed. There is a personal stamp on the inside front cover and a little handwriting on the first cover page but I didn't find any other handwriting in the book. The first two blank cover pages are coming loose but the binding on this old book is still tight. There is yellow spotting here and there inside the book and the pages have tanned somewhat but other than that the pages are clean with no folded or damaged pages and the book does appear to be complete. There are a good number of illustations and they are very finely done, much better than my photos indicate. The book is 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" in size and not counting the index is 552 pages in length. I would guess this is a fairly rare book and is probably a first edition. There is a $1.5
