Original untrimmed Plate No. 81 from the renowned work by George Shaw entitled General Zoology or Systematic Natural History, Volume VIII, Part 1 Birds, published in London, 1811. Hand-colored with exquisite detail and warm black imprint on ivory stock. Very faint foxing and yellowing at paper's edges. Full page measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/4." Authenticity guaranteed.
