This is a 16-page newspaper with a page size of 10" x 6.5". Niles Weekly Register was arguably THE premiere newspaper of the War of 1812 era, with DETAILED coverage of National and International news !! This has a prominent front page banner headine (very unusual for an 1813 newspaper) that reads: "DECLARATION of INDEPENDENCE". This newspaper the prints the ENTIRE TEXT of the Declaration of Independence AS WELL AS THE NAMES of the SIGNATORIES at the end (that too is very unusual as most of the time JOHN HANCOCK's name is the only one printed at the end) !!! This was printed in the midst of the War of 1812 against the British. This was printed on the 37th anniversary of American Independence and is undoubtedly one of the BEST early display printings of the DECLARATION of INDEPENDENCE !! Very good condition. This listing includes the complete entire original newspaper, NOT just a clipping or a page of it. STEPHEN A.
