This Exquisite Medal is without doubt the very closest you’ll get to the Destroyed Original. There was only 1 original out there; this is an exact replica of it. THIS IS AN EXACT AND PERFECT COPY OF THE ORIGINAL Right Down to th e Markers Mark!!!!! ( SEE PICTURE ABOVE). "The Star of the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to the most outstanding of Generals who performed feats of leadership to the extreme benefit of the German State. It was awarded only twice, over a century apart, to Generalfeldmarschall von Blücher in 1813 and to Field Marshal Paul von Hindenburg in 1918.
