Description : This is an Antique 1815 War of 1812 Book . Rare 1815 Book: Exposition Of The Causes And Character Of The Late WarIt is titled An "Exposition Of The Causes And Character Of The Late War Between The United States And Great-Britain" by [Alexander J. Dallas]. Published Concord, N.H. by Isaac & Walter Hill, 1815. Hardcover. Leather over spine. 108pp. This edition published the same year as the first, Philadelphia edition. In fair to good condition with wear to spine ends and boards. Previous owner name and scribble present to front inner board. No end papers. Some foxing present as expected. This popular work gives a long explanation of Great Britain's culpability. Howes notes that it is also attributed to President James Madison. HOWES D25. SHAW & SHOEMAKER 34514. SABIN 18309.
