“The Works of the Right Honorable Lord Byron”. Volume V. Published by W. Borradaile in New York during the year 1825. Printed by Folsom & Allen. Illustrated with a frontispiece entitled “ The Corsair ” created by R. Westall & A.B. Durand. Contents: The Two Foscari-A historical Tragedy ( scene: the Ducal Palace in Venice ), Appendix, Werner (tragedy / scene: partly on the frontier of Silesia and partly in Siegendorf Castle near Prague ), The Giaour, a fragment of a Turkish Tale. Leather binding. Text in english. Good condition (worn spine with cracks-almost detached, few inscriptions, foxing, yellow/brown/water stains, few splotchy pages, tiny tears/small creases on few inner pages, merely worn cover with stains, scratches, gilt ornament’s fading, cracks near spine and rubbed corners/edges). 298 pages, 14 x 8 x 2.5 cm .
