1829 US� Capped Bust Lettered Edge Half Dollar Coin For auction is this rare 1829 US Capped Bust 50 Cent silver coin. It has not been cleaned, or otherwise handled by us. All items we sell are originals, not replicas or reproductions of any kind. The scans included are of the actual items for auction. We do not usually deal in coins or currency, and wouldn't know where to begin grading their condition. We do not touch up the images or attempt to clean up the items in any way. Our scanner produces less than crisp images… sorry. We are selling these items for the estate of a relative who collected coins, currency, and stamps from around the world. He was a Lt. Commander in the US Navy during and after the Second World War, and amassed a substantial collection, which we will be listing over the next several weeks. Please ask any questions before bidding, and allow us enough time to research an answer and get back to you. Please do not save questions until an hour before the end of the auction, as they will likely go unanswered before time runs out. We do not profit from shipping charges, nor do we charge a 'handling' fee. Any difference in the shipping costs will be refunded at time of shipment.
