1832 O-112 "DASHDATE" PCGS / CAC VF35 50C ~ Exceptional Original & PQ! (bx117) A cool variety with a dash to the left of the 1, which is most likely the remnant of a 1 that was punched too far to the left. Gorgeous, smooth, crusty surfaces appear totally original. No hairlines! In terms of wear, this is a textbook XF40, but strike weakness on the left wing caused the low-ball grade at PCGS. This could easily slab XF40, hence our "PQ" rating, and CAC's green seal of approval. A gorgeous coin. CAC, or Certified Acceptance Corporation, green-stickers only coins that are solid, if not high-end for the assigned PCGS/NGC grade. CAC will gold-sticker PCGS/NGC coins they believe to be under-graded outright.
