This is an original 1832 arrest warrant issued by the State Of Rhode Island authorizing the Sheriff or his Deputy to arrest a man who owed a debt of $3.50 to someone The man was later arrested and paid off the debt by giving the complainant 50 bushels of vegetables worth 7 cents per bushel for a total value of $3.50.. The Sheriff was paid .73 cents for his effort.It is interesting and in good condition for its age of 175 years and would look great in a nice frame.
