PACIFIC SHORE MAPS 1835 Bradford Map 10 x 8 inch (25 x 20 cm) copper plate engraved map. From Bradford’s “Comprehensive Atlas” Overall VG to VG+ Cleaned and de-acidified The actual title of this interesting piece is "Distance and Direction of Various Places from New York, as measured upon the surface of the artificial globe". Coincidentally it also makes a good description. Black and white, no color. New York to the South Pole was noted as 9,104 miles while it was only 1807 miles to Cape Farewell.
