This is a "Farmers Cabinet", New Hampshire News Paper April 29, 1836. Texas Revolution Reports Page 2 - Texas- "A company of volunteers from New York arrived at the Brassos" etc. Half inch column. New Orleans- "The accounts from Texas are very disturbing. ...we have intelligence that Col. Fannin and his command surrender to St Anna at Goliad.........they were all barbarously massacreed........." two inch column. Page 3 - Affairs in Texas- " The news in Texas is very contradictory that......... Col Fannin and his 450 men who garrisoned the fort had all been slaughtered ..............that Col Fannin had abandonded the fort and blown it up tp prevent its being of service to the Mexicans"...........two inch column. Page 3 - A Lad killed by a Panther....."but before it died it succeded to tear the boy to pieces"..two inch column.
