Reports show Mexican tyroop Build up and state of defeated Mexican army in disarray, rumors of trial for General SANTA ANNA, Mexico making deals with Native American Tribes in Texas to align with Mexico to retrieve their land. Interesting how significant the reports are to be placed on front Page. Other notable paragraph is of a Captain Lee better known as S.D. Lee and the Battle of Micanopy and the gallantry he displayed and this being noted by War department. Other stories on [politics Daniel Webster, Martin Van Buren, President Jackson and others.
