This listing is for an antique book The Universal Traveller t he complete title being "The Universal Traveller designed to introduce readers at home to an acquaintance with the arts, customs and manners of the principal modern nations on the globe." By Charles A. Goodrich, stated Second Edition, printed the same year as the first edition in 1836. Full leather cover with gold gilt design and lettering on the spine. Contains 504 pages with lots of fascinating b&w illustrations. All pages are there except one page cut out from the front which I believe was a blank page; a few small sections are loose from the binding and the book binding is loose but still well attached; The marbled page ends are dingy from age now, there are significant brown spots, some brown stains and typical condition issues with a 175 year old book -- please look over photos for condition. Looks good on the shelf and interesting to read. There is an extensive table of contents which is provided in the photos below.
