This beautiful map engraved by J & C Walker is from the famous Society for The Diffusion of Useful Knowledge Atlas, published by Charles Knight, London, 1844. Size: The map measures approx 17" x 14", (43 cm x 36 cm). Description: This beautiful handcoloured map is an original antique map which is printed on one side only. This map is a genuine antique, 163 years old. The Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge was founded in England in 1826 to provide improving information at affordable prices. SDUK maps are regarded as some of the most precise maps of the mid-19th century due to their incredible detail. Condition: The map is in good condition. Shipping: Buyer to pay postage.
