Deuxieme edition corrigee et augmentee. Munich, 1845. 348 pages including index. Interior remains tight, clean and complete. Pages with some toning remain better than average. Several pages with margin notes in pencil. Publishers stiff board exterior with much wear and chipping. The corners are rather bumped and rounded. Most of backstrip is lacking. Library bookplate to inside front board. Library call numbers to bacsktrip. Embossed seal to the top of title page. A fantastic find for the collector or anyone interested in this subject matter. Text in French. Not common. 7.00 by 4.50 inches. Edition of the catalogue drawn up by Georges de Dillis, Director of the Royal Galleries, counting 674 works. Includes a folding illustration at rear. A wonderful addition to any serious Art collection.
