This map is by John Dower, published by Henry Teesdale, London, 1841. Size: The map measures approx 18" x 14.5", (46 cm x 37 cm). Description: This is an amazing handcoloured map from Teesdale's New General Atlas of The World. This is an original antique map which is printed on one side only. The map is printed on good quality thick paper. This map is a genuine antique, 166 years old. Teesdale's atlas is one of the finest of it's time with beautiful original handcolouring, the piano key border, and excellent detail. many of the maps show the railways that have been built, as well as railways that were planned. Red is used for colonies of the British Empire on the releveant maps. Condition: The map is in good condition. Shipping: Buyer to pay postage.
