New edition with appendix to Parts I and II. Philadelphia: Carey and Hart 1846, Part I, 109 pages with 54 page appendix, Part II, 59 pages with 16 page appendix. Includes drawings, charts, and pull-out. Ivory cover with black spine. Front cover loosening but still attached. Partial loss of cloth along spine. Paper label faded. Owner’s names on endpapers, spotting in beginning of book. Otherwise good with decent binding and pages generally clean. Sections on loading of guns, gunpowder, cleaning guns, windage of shot, ricochet firing, etc.
