Memoirs of Prince Charles Stuart, (Count of Albany,) commonly called The Young Pretender; with Notices of the Rebellion in 1745. By Charles Louis Klose [Karl Ludwig Klose], Esq. Second Edition. In Two Volumes. London: Henry Colburn, 1846. In good plus condition. Rebacked in red buckram, with new endpapers and the original red boards. External wear is generally moderate; the corners are more worn. Old library bookplates are faintly visible underneath the new endpapers, but there are no other library markings apart from call numbers written to the reverse of the title pages. The pages are generally clean; there are occasional smudges, some slight edge tears, a few creases, a few seller pencil markings to endpapers. There is a small ink blot affecting the title page and frontispiece of volume 1, which has also caused a small hole in the tissue guard. The bindings are solid.
