U.S. - 1848 Stampless folded letter. Manuscipt postmark at left from Harvard, Mass. (Massachusetts, Worcester County) dated November 8 with no year and manuscript "Paid 10" rate marking at right. Addressed to Cincinnati, Ohio and year is taken from letter enclosure and docketing. Postmark is listed in the American Stampless Cover Catalog / Massachusetts / Manuscript Town Marks / Harvard. This is from the Donald Thompson collection and his notes indicate the contents of the letter are Shaker related. Pencil on reverse notes "Sister in-law of Trumbull Bull."
