Crossed swords with pommels on hilts 1850-1924. Crossed swords with one incision across indicates the piece was sold white. Dish measure 5-1/2" across and sits just about 1-1/8" high. Although the piece was designed and hand painted outside the Meissen factory it was certainly completed by a very talented artist. The details and workmanship are superb. The colors in both romantic scenes are crisp and bright showing no signs of fading. The crossed swords show one incision. The number 13 is impressed on the underside. I see no breaks, cracks, chips or crazing. There is some wear on the color yellow/gold between the white center and the couple with the red jacket. Please view the photos closely. I've attached photos for you to further evaluate condition and authenticity. If more are needed let me know and I'll gladly send them your way. I also invite questions and reply the same day. Guarantee...If I made any mistakes in this listing they were honest ones and not meant to mislead you. This good Meissen comes with a full money back guarantee including all postage costs. I just ask that it be returned in the same condition as shown in my attached photos.
