A wonderful antique coverlet from Mt. Vernon in Knox county Ohio.This jaquard single weave two piece is in my reference book on the best antique coverlets and it should really be in a museum.The wool coverlet is signed by two brothers or was made for two brothers in 1852 long before the civil war.There is a small amount of fringe loss and a one inch month hole in the top center.The colors are bright, no smell with no stains.The over all condition is very, very, good and it is listed at half the book price.
