Published by James Nichol; 1853. 9" x 6" 333 numbered pages in Vol. 1 and 328 numbered pages in Vol. 2.]Complete two volume set of John Milton's works, in very good condition for age, (163 years old!). Bound in full green cloth with blind stamped ivy design on covers, gilt stamped titles and gilt designs on spine. Expected shelf wear; covers rubbed and corners bumped. Bindings are tight and square; pages are clean and bright, save for previous owners inscriptions on both volumes flyleafs. Overall a fantastic set of books!
