Up for bid is an interesting pair of 1854 five dollar bank notes from the bank of Milledgeville, Georgia. They are in excellent condition for t age with no rips or significant damage but a few have some minor folds around the edges. I am not a paper money expert so please be the judge on grading them yourself. They are signed by George Lee and C. C. Wilcox and are beautiful specimens of the engravers art. They were printed by Toppan, Carpenter, Casilear & Co. of New York and Philadelphia. These are fresh from a great old estate in Sandwich, Illinois and are guaranteed antique / vintage. US buyers pay $5.00 shipping and insurance by First Class Mail and foreign buyers pay actual shipping and insurance plus $5.00 handling. Please do not ask me to quote shipping costs to other countries before the item is purchased. This item is being sold with no reserve.
