First edition.With a preface to front, written in two parts Topography and Statistics and History and followed by four sections of appendices on antiquities, language, commerce and agriculture and natural history. CONDITION In a half calf binding with marbled paper covered boards. Externally, sound but with some wear to extremities, rubbing and marks to boards. One spine label absent, joints starting, front hinge tender, rear strained with backstrip lifting. Internally, text block firmly bound. Bright but with occasional spots and handling marks.
