BookDescription: Addresses on the Presentation of the Sword of Gen. Andrew Jackso to the Congress of the United States, Delivered In the Senate and House of Representatives February 26, 1855, Washington: Beverley Tucker, Printer, 1855, 40 pp. Gilt titles on blind stamped brown boards. Some minor scuffing to front cover in bottom right that you can see in the image that I have provided. String binding still holding. Pages clean. All in all, a very good copy. The sword in question, worn by Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans and at other military engagements, was given by him to General Robert Armstrong and after Armstrong's death was presented to Congress by his family. It now resides at the Smithsonian.
