1856 Antique Book Titled THE PILGRIM'S PROGRESS From This World to That Which is To Come Listed is an 1856 publication by Alden & Beardsley of Auburn and Rochester of The Pilgrim's Progress from This World to That Which is to Come, Delivered under the similitude of a dream. This is a mid 19th century publication of the 17th century writing of the very religious John Bunyan (1628-1688). It is believed it was written in 1678. This book is illustrated. This is a rare publication by this publisher. Cover boards are covered with cloth and have rubs on corners and edges, but the covers are still tight. Lettering and designs on the spine cover are faded and are barely legible. Pages are tight and clean with very light scattered foxing and light age toning. Size is 7 3/4 by 5 1/2 inches with 491 pages. Condition is Good Plus or better. Item is shipped immediately upon receipt of PayPal,or Cashiers Check.
