New York: Episcopal Church Book Society; 1856. First Edition.4 x 6 1/8 inches; 193 pages. Frontis picture of White. Blue patterned cloth; gold title and design on spine.The book is in good condition; clean and tight with a little foxing here and there throughout. There is a little rippling and some fade spots on cover. White was George Washington's Chaplain in the Camp and Congress and he also conducted Washington's funeral. There is a chapter on Washington and the Church.
