1856 Methodist Hymnal w Leather Binding Hymns Episcopal Church Revised Edition You are bidding on an antique Methodist hymnal from the mid 19th century. This is a small hymnal. The spine reads “ Methodist Hymns .”. This hymnal is leather bound. The title page says “Hymns For The Use Of The Methodist Episcopal Church Revised Edition. New-York: Published By Carlton & Phillips, 200 Mulberry-Street. 1856.” This hymnal is 5” X 3 3/16”. There are 736 pages. This Methodist Hymnal is in fair condition. There is considerable scuffing of the leather. There is some bumping. There is some foxing of the pages. There are minimal folds and no tears. If you collect hymnals and other religious items, or antique books, this is for you. This would look great on display, and would make a nice addition to any collection.
