This coin has been in my collection for years and it's time I moved on. The coin is a U.S. 1 dollar gold coin minted in 1856 (156 years old), it really is a piece of American History! Someone tried to drill a hole in it (probably to wear it as a necklace) so there is damage to the top of the coin. Despite the minor damage, this is still a beautiful coin rich in American history. The coin is 14.9mm and weighs 1.7 grams.
