This is a rather rough old Lord's Prayer that I believe was made by my great grandfather (initials AHC) and dated 1860. It is in an old round frame that measures just under 12". T is some damage to the paper under the glass as you can see. The frame is separating a bit at the seams but for it's age, is pretty well-preserved. I don't know about the stuff that looks like type as it is much better rendered than the calligraphy. Did he fill in a page from an old Bible? My grandmother was born in 1899 and this would be her father's, not sure of his age when this was made. Feel free to inform if you know about these things. Based on your questions: I really don't know who made this. It has initials "AHC" which were my grandfather's and the actual calligraphy does not look professionally done, in my opinion. But that is just a guess. If you know something more and would like to share, go right ahead.
