A fine adornment of Texas History. Great for Genealogy. 1860 Map of Texas Original 1860. 147-yrs-old. Published 1860 by Augustus Mitchell, Jr. Hand Colored. Pre-Civil War. Dated 1860. Map reads at the bottom: "Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1860 by S. Augustus Mitchell Jr. in the Clerks Office of the District Court for the Eastern District." Map is in excellent condition: No folds, marks, writing, or tears. Slight foxing along bottom border. Not a reproduction. Dated 1860.
