This is a beautiful rare French figural clock made by Charpentier -Cie Bronziers circa 1860' s Paris Rue Charl otte 8 France. It is in exceptional condition for over 150 years old.It is a rare clock which was made with the lost wax method and it is made by a master craftsmen bronzier , with a quality you do not see any more. It is more like a work of art. The inside move ment was made by J.Mayer. It is a large clock measuring 22 " high 14" wide and 8 1/2"deep. It is a mantle/table clock with two keys depicting a woman dressed for a masquerade ball with a toga and gold headband. In one hand she is holding two gold flutes and in the other a gold masquerade mask. It is a heavy bronze clock with white silver gilt with gold plate accents and is mounted on a marble base with a marble face and Roman numerals for numbers on the face. This clock does work and has a bell chime on the hour it chimes out the numbers and on the half hour it rings o nce. We use freight shipping. Please ask for a quote using your zip code.
