1860s CDV PHOTO WOMENS FASHION HOOP SKIRT BOLERO JACKET Description : Wonderful Civil War era carte de visite format photo of a woman posing for the camera in her full length taffeta hoop skirt, bolero jacket with embroidered details, and cameo pin and matching earrings. She is standing with her hand on her hip, looking directly into the camera. She sports shorn locks, which adds to the dramatic effect. Photographer is identified on reverse as Sprague & Curtis Lewiston Maine. Albumen photo mounted on plain cream cardstock. Mount has some paper layers separated on the reverse lower corners which is not visible on the front. Otherwise in very good condition, crisp, clear and with good tonality.
