An antique Comtoise wall clock with pressed brass surround. Made by Victor Wintermantel, c.1860's.The enamel dial is in fine condition, no cracks, chips or repairs but it has one small and faint hairline near the numeral I. The movement, escapement and bell mechanism are in working order but this clock could eventually use a cleaning and lubrication. The surround has been repainted with gold leaf paint and it has some light damage/dent. (see close-ups).Size is 17" tall, 11" wide, 6" deep. Includes the original folding pendulum and key. No weights. Selling as is.
