1862 Wilmington Delaware 5¢ Fractional Note Your bidding on a rare example of a 1862 City of Wilmington Delaware 5¢ Fractional Note printed by the American Bank Note Co. Phildª. The Obverse of the note has a RED "CENTS"over stamp and states; Twelve months after date The CITY of WILMINGTON will pay (FIVE CENTS) to bearer in current funds in sums of ONE DOLLAR No. 10617 Wilmington Dec. 1st 1862. Blank Reverse with the red "cents" stamp visible. The note is in good condition with all four corners, no tears, only a few pin/wear holes seen only when the note is viewed through a light and well worn paper quality.
