Description This is a Great, Rare, Early, Original, Civil War Union Army handwritten "List of Quartermaster's Stores" document. This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Early look, with Beautiful handwritting, was written & signed by US Army Quartermaster, General George B. Cadwallader, is an accounting of items transfered to Capt. Edward L. Witman, 46th Penn. Vols/12th Army Corps, at Decherd, Tennessee, measures approx. 10" x 8", is from the estate of Witman, quite a Rare piece to Find and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. Edward L. Witman, of Harrisburg, PA was born in 1830 and mustered into the Union Army in 1861. He served his Country through 1865, working his way up to Lieutenent-Colonel and commanded the 46th & 210th PA. This appears to be in Very Good, Crisp, easily readable condition and displays MUCH better than the picture shows.
