The Holy Bible, Containing the Old and New TestamentsNY: American Bible Society, 1863 .Attractive American Civil War era family Bible complete with gilt tooled full-leather covers, lightly rubbed, bumped, scuffed and worn but all intact. Spine with raised bands and upper compartment titled in gilt. Within, the block with some light browning, a few small stains, overall great. Page edges also gilt. The family pages are present, and unmarked, ready for your info today. There is a single signature to the front pastedown of a V. W. Parker, else unmarked. Dimensions roughly 9.25" x 6.25" x 3" thick. A nice English family Bible, printed by the ABS, and surely in a workable state. Posted with eBay Mobile
