The Complete Analysis Of The Holy Bible By Rev. Nathaniel West, D.D., New York, A.J. Johnson, Publisher, 1869: This large hardcover 3/4 leather Bible has 1097 pages with gilt edges all around. The special feature of this otherwise ordinary Bible is a hand colored 10" x 14" (plus small margins) fold out Johnson map of Palestine with an insert of the Mount Sinai Peninsula. The frontispiece - Rescue Of Moses - is intact (see picture). The covers and spine show some wear, but it is not excessive (much less than is typical of 19th Century Bibles). The covers are tight and t are no loose or missing pages inside. The map is in very nice condition with just a few very small light spots of age foxing - no tears, stains, fold separations, or problems. Buyer to pay $4 bookrate postage.
