1869 Johnson's Six Descriptive World Maps (on Double Page). A unique representation, six separate maps, on a double sheet, depicting Principal Members of the Animal Kingdom, Productive Industry, Ocean Currents, Meteorology, Map featuring the Principal features of the Land, and Distribution and Limits of Cultivation of The Principal Plants Useful to Man. Great looking, and unique. Ex-atlas map from the 1869 Atlas, however, it is dated 1864. Map measures 21 x 17 inches, with six separate plates. Hand colored, with a wealth of information. Verso has "The Coats of Arms Procured Especially for the Johnson's Family Atlas ", featuring the Coats of Arms for each State. Dated 1863, in BW. Terms : $6.50 shipping via USPS 1st Class to USA.
