'Peerless' Shelf Clock This nice antique clock stands 14 x 11 inches with a 5 inch painted dial. The case is of rosewood, circa 1870, dated on movement. Other features include an excellent label on the back of the case and a second one inside the case, very unusual to have two labels. This one is the famous 'Peerless' Model, by the E.N. Welch, Soloman Spring and Company. They were only in business for a couple of years together before Welch started by himself, so add this nice piece to your collection, it has a signed and dated movement, 1870, and nice label inside.
