Hi, and thanks for looking! Thislisting is for two original hand tinted photographs thought to be from the Japanese studio of Felice Beato or those who reproduced his work, such as Barron von Stillfried. Here we have two photos, one of the temple gate at Ninna-ji in Kyoto, Japan, and the other anunidentifiedrural scene.Thesedefinitely date to the 1870's. Eachphoto is about 5 1/4 inches by 3 5/8 inches. They are being listed in groups of two because they are stuck to the front and back of one original album page. Somephotos have toning, fading, and other age related spots but are otherwise all intact.
