Antique 1872 Baldwin Family Bible with a lot of genealogy information written on marriages, births and deaths pages. Also includes 5 victorian photographs of family members in die cut photo pages. The Baldwin family is from Manayunk, PA. Beautiful color litho Marriage Certificate has names of Joshua S. Baldwin of Delaware County, PA and Rebecca Miles of Chester County, PA married on September 16th, 1843 at The Parsonage by Rv. King. Also inside is a 14" x 4" length of plaid fabric used as a bookmark. Not sure if it has any significance as far as plaid pattern to family name.Large bible measures approx. 10 x 12 x 4" and has tooled leather cover with gilt writing. Cover has wear and tear especially around edges and at spine, with leather rubbing off and discoloration due to age. Inside front end page has detached. Pages fragile and discolored due to age with some foxing and some water marks.
